I usually do not review books I've read but I had to say something about this book. I just wanted to say that I've just literally finished this book and what an amazing eye-opener. I have always had questions that I've asked my pastor about the creation and the "Enuma Elish" tablets and he just gets frustrated because I won't sit and just be the good boy in the congregation. I started reading this book with a suspicion about the Bible being quite vague on these issues, but as I got into this book I am thoroughly satisfied that my questions have been answered and I truly believe that the Bible IS the inspired word of God. Mr. Elwell has really done his homework on the subject. Especially on his breakdown of the Book of Job. Beautiful. I just wanted to say that he has restored some of my lost faith in my God because he could answer my questions in this book. Thank you sir for writing this book. Another review written by THRILLER JUNKIE says it beautifully and just as I would say it so I copied and pasted it into my review as well. I would ask every God fearing person out there to read this book.THRILLER JUNKIE says: WOW, I've never read anything quite like this before on the creation of the earth, the Bethlehem star, and most of all the second coming of Christ. Elwell's research, based upon past Earth history and pagan near eastern creation texts laid out side-by-side with Biblical texts for comparison is an awesome and very eye opening study. Don't freak on that "pagan near eastern" thing as Elwell credits God for everything and not some bunch of pagan gods. His take on what the tribulation might really be like and why is completely new and as I read the book I could hardly wait to reach the final chapter where he lays the tribulation out. Planet X figures prominently into Elwell's tribulation theory. All in all, this book is a must read. What if Elwell is even close to correct? My personal impression is this, "I'm glad I read the book". If the tribulation begins to happen anything like the book surmises I won't be caught unaware.

After studying as much as I could about Planet X, I have to say that this book is the ultimate as far as information goes. What a thorough and interesting read this is! I was amazed that I could understand all that was being said because it is a very scholarly book, but I was able to keep up with it all and was totally blown away by what I read. Sometimes, I would put it down and just think about what I had just read because of the way it was all tied in to what I believe as a Christian. I found it really amazing how the early civilizations knew about the Creation and yet there were errors in what they believed because of passing down through generations what they knew. Only the Bible gives God's account of creation and the author makes that very clear. I highly recommend this book. It is one I will reread over and over.
I highly recommend this book to all believers. A good part of the book was aligning Genesis, Enuma Elish, and the Book of Job, and other scriptures with the creation story which all appears to support one another and supports the existence of Planet X. Of course, the payoff occurs at the end of the book. The author carefully lays out how Planet X is involved in the Book of Revelation. What transpires in the End Times can only occur supernaturally and the presence of Planet X. It's a convincing argument and as you begin to wrap your head around it, you are left wondering what other explanation is there?
On a side note, I too am in the minority that believes the rapture of the saints will occur at the end of the tribulation period. There is scripture that supports this, and certainly this book confirms it further.
I also wish to extend my appreciation to the author, Douglas Elwell, thank you for writing such an insightful book.
I tentatively rate this book 4 stars. Not so much because it is an exciting read but because the author has done his homework as my wife is so fond of saying. If you enjoy a book full of information that sets up a very plausible theory then you will thoroughly enjoy this book. I think he overworked his research ( if that is really possible ) but it was challenging to see how it all lined up. I think everyone will enjoy this book but you have to read it slowly so that you will be able to digest his information. Don't be mistaken this book is for anyone that wants to explore a theory that has been spoken about by major civilizations since the beginning of time.
This is an amazing book. You could study this book for months and learn something new every time you pick it up.
It is heavily documented and well written.
There is a lot of garbage out there on the subject of Planet X. This is the definitive book on Planet X. There is no other book. This is the real deal.

The author is well educated. Dedicated years to learn Hebrew in order to unravel & reveal for us the treasures in the scriptures especially as it pertains, but not limited, to the book of Job. For centuries, these scriptures held their secrets hidden in plain sight until G-d inspired Mr. Elwell to furnish us with the key/legend to unravel the obscure & seemingly bizarre scriptures in the book of Job and other ancient Mesopotamia/Babylonian writings where now they make perfect sense especially in light of the astronomical happenings going on in the realms above our heads which is only going to increase in intensity & frequency as the days progress.
Truly, we are on the precipice of the End of the Age for as spoken of in Daniel, knowledge is being unsealed for Doug Elwell's research Has opened up a treasure trove of information on the major theme to the book of Job that has been missed for a millennium perhaps even longer!
More than just adding another dimension of meaning to the book of Job, it lays bare & brings true understanding to the Masterfulness of G-d, Almighty and how Planet X is drawing closer to us on Earth as the Jesus's return is about to be heralded!
